Custom Made Orthotics

Orthotics (or orthoses) are shoe inserts which aim to support, align and alter the behaviour of the foot, with the aim to redistribute pressure or change to function of tissues in the feet, ankles and legs.

As podiatrists our aim is to assess your foot, ankle and leg pain thoroughly and then provide a tailored program which may or may not require orthoses. In many cases orthoses are able to be avoided with a specific rehabilitation program and advice on footwear choices.

We are able to provide you with various types of Orthoses and will aim to ensure that they will fit most types of footwear.

Our Custom Orthoses are produced with a 3D scanner to provide us with the most accurate impression of your foot, improving orthotic comfort and effectiveness in treating musculoskeletal symptoms.

Orthoses can assist with many conditions and some cases may be required as an accommodative device in conditions such as Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Diabetes wound prevention.

Please contact our clinic to find out more about our custom made orthotics, or to make an appointment for assessment by our experienced podiatrists.
