Biomechanical and Gait Analysis
Biomechanical and Gait Analysis: Your Podiatrist will start by taking a detailed medical history which may be relevant to the pain or injury reported. Following this, a comprehensive examination of the painful area will be conducted.

We then conduct a gait analysis. This may provide information about movement patterns which could be a contributing factor to the pain you have reported.

This may be measured through standard visual analysis, or with the assistance of video technology allowing the ability to slow down particular phases of movement when walking or running.

Following this assessment a management plan will be implemented to assist with recovery. This may include footwear advice, tissue rehabilitation, myofascial release and possibly the assistance of orthoses.
