Dry Needling/Myofacial Release

Our podiatrists have additional training in the treatment of dry needling.  This practice involves the insertion of fine needles into trigger points or tight bands of muscles to improve pain, healing and muscle function.  It is commonly used as a complimentary treatment for:

  • Plantar heel pain/plantar fasciitis

  • Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome/Shin Splints

  • Peroneal Tendinopathy and associated pain along the path of the tendons

  • Achilles Tendinopathy and associated muscle pathology

  • Plus many more conditions of the foot/ankle and leg tissues.
